Business Analyst for Equity Derivatives (Risk/Pricing/Lifecycle) (JVU-BA 1)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Outstanding opportunity to work for an international investment bank in the area of equity derivatives; options, convertible bonds, commodities.
The candidate will be facing off to key stakeholders in trading, quants, risk control, finance, and operations for requirements gathering and project management. Within IT, he/she will be working with the multiple development teams to ensure scope is clear and achievable, test plans are comprehensive, and milestones are known and tracked.
Task:
-Creation of quality functional specifications and working closely with the developers in the creation of technical specs
-Mapping of as-is and to-be processes, use cases and full test and migrations strategies
- Working with the users on UAT planning and liaison with the user base during the UAT
-Delivery to the business and handover to the support team
- analysis, requirements gathering, design, testing and deployment
-recognizing needs around testing, integration and delivery of software
Qualifications:
• Strong understanding Equity Derivatives or similar derivatives products wrt risk/pricing, pnl, product lifecycle, and interfaces with front office + logistics
•Experience with MS Visio, Project, Excel, SharePoint as well as testing (e.g. Quality Center) and knowledge sharing tools (e.g. Confluence wiki)
• Full Business Analysis development lifecycle experience
•Working within IT, with proven delivery record and an ability to work in a demanding environment. Experience of global project deliveries
•Capable of producing functional specifications that drive change, cross functional project plans
•Experience of working with traders, quants and all levels of users and technical teams
•Strong written, verbal, reasoning analytical and inter-personal skills
